Founder & Chiropractic Physician, Lifetime Health and Wellness Center SC
Dr. Timothy Schening is a 1993 graduate of Logan University College of Chiropractic and has dedicated over 30 years to advancing conservative healthcare. His journey into chiropractic care started with a personal breakthrough: as a young man, it was the only treatment that finally healed a difficult injury. That experience defined his career mission. Today, he specializes in recovery for accident-related injuries, herniated discs and athletic performance.

With a comprehensive clinical background, Dr. Schening is Board-Certified in Acupuncture and Chiropractic Pediatrics, and is board-eligible by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. He is a firm believer that an integrative, collaborative approach is the future of medicine. At Lifetime Health and Wellness Center, he leads a true multidisciplinary team—including medical doctors, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, and massage therapists—ensuring every patient receives high-quality, specialized care tailored to their specific needs. This allows them to benefit from a comprehensive, "all-under-one-roof" healthcare experience that always puts the patient first.

When he isn’t helping patients achieve peak wellness, you can likely find Dr. Schening on the golf course or in his workshop—he’s a "maker" at heart who loves working with his hands. More than anything, he enjoys life with his wife, Stella, their three adult children and families, especially their beloved granddaughter.

Jon Schening, MD

Dr. Schening is a physician specializing in immunotherapy for environmental allergies, helping patients get long-term relief from seasonal and year-round symptoms like congestion, sneezing, post-nasal drip, itchy eyes, and allergy-triggered asthma. His focus is on identifying the specific triggers driving symptoms and building a personalized treatment plan that reduces reliance on daily medications over time.
At Lifetime, Dr. Schening’s practice is intentionally narrow: allergy shots (SCIT) and allergy drops (SLIT) for environmental allergens. Patients can expect a clear evaluation, straightforward counseling on options, and a safety-first approach to dosing and follow-up. The goal is simple: fewer symptoms, better breathing, and more freedom during Chicagoland allergy seasons.
